These Terms govern your use of Chef Sarah, operated by James Sabourin SaaS Products LLC ("Chef Sarah," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Chef Sarah, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
Provide accurate information, protect your password, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. Cooking and AI guidance
Chef Sarah provides general cooking information, recipe organization, pantry assistance, and AI-generated guidance. AI responses can be incomplete or wrong. Use reasonable judgment, verify important instructions, follow ingredient and appliance labels, and consult authoritative food-safety guidance.
Chef Sarah is not medical, nutritional, allergy, or professional food-safety advice. You are responsible for allergens, dietary restrictions, cross-contamination, and safe cooking temperatures. Use a properly working food thermometer when safety matters.
3. Your recipes and photos
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit it as needed to operate and improve Chef Sarah. Public recipes may be displayed to other users. Only upload material you own or have permission to use.
4. Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious material, impersonate others, violate laws, or harm another person. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.
5. Trials, subscriptions, and billing
Eligible new accounts receive the trial shown at signup. Paid features require the subscription displayed before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and payments are processed by Stripe or another disclosed provider. Current prices and features appear on the Pricing page.
Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal but does not erase charges already incurred. Refund requests are handled according to applicable law and the circumstances of the request.
6. Third-party services
We rely on providers for hosting, authentication, payments, automation, AI, voice features, and recipe data. Their services may have separate terms and may occasionally be unavailable.
7. Availability and changes
We may update or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service and may suspend access for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.
8. Our intellectual property
Chef Sarah's software, design, branding, and original content belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Chef Sarah is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or losses caused by reliance on cooking guidance, interruptions, or user content. Nothing here limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
10. Governing law
Texas law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new effective date and request new consent when legally appropriate.
