This Policy explains how James Sabourin SaaS Products LLC ("Chef Sarah," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Chef Sarah.
1. Information we collect
- Account: first name, email, country, state or province, ZIP or postal code, authentication records, subscription status, and consent records.
- Kitchen content: recipes, photos, pantry items, leftovers, preferences, and notes.
- Conversations: questions, cooking context, voice transcripts, and responses.
- Billing: plan and transaction status, billing location, and payment-provider identifiers. We do not receive your full card number from Stripe.
- Usage and technical data: pages viewed, feature interactions, timestamps, browser or session identifiers, device information, errors, and security logs. Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses.
2. How we use information
We use it to provide and personalize Chef Sarah, save kitchen content, answer questions, operate voice features, process subscriptions, determine applicable taxes, maintain tax and transaction records, maintain security, troubleshoot, understand feature use, communicate, and comply with law.
3. AI and service providers
Relevant questions and kitchen context may be sent to providers that operate features. Providers may include Supabase, Netlify, Stripe, n8n, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and recipe or drink data providers. They process information under their own security and privacy practices. Do not put highly sensitive personal information in recipe notes or chats.
4. Analytics
First-party analytics may record a randomly generated browser or session identifier, page path, event name, and timestamp. We use this to improve Chef Sarah and monitor features. We do not sell personal information.
5. Sharing
We share information with providers when needed to operate Chef Sarah, process payments, provide support, protect the service, or comply with law. Public recipes and photos are visible according to the visibility setting you choose. Information may transfer with a merger, financing, or sale of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
6. Retention
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for the service, legal obligations, disputes, security, and enforcement. Some records may remain temporarily in backups or required logs after deletion.
7. Your choices
You can edit or delete much of your kitchen content and may request account deletion through available controls or by contacting us. You may request access or correction, subject to applicable law and identity verification.
8. Cookies and browser storage
Chef Sarah and its providers use cookies or browser storage for sign-in, settings, abuse prevention, and measurement. Blocking them may prevent parts of the service from working.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and notify us about suspected unauthorized access.
10. Children
Chef Sarah is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Processing location
Chef Sarah is operated in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where providers operate.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy and will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
